Volleyball Drops a Tightly Contested Five-Setter at St. Thomas

Keiser traveled to the Fernandez Family Center in Miami Gardens, Fla. to face St. Thomas, and after a tightly contested five-set match, the Bobcats came away with the 3-2 victory to halt the Seahawks' four-game winning streak.

  • 4: Keiser fought off four St. Thomas match points, three in set 4 and one in set 5, before the Bobcats won the match.

  • 94: Keiser set a new season-high in digs, finishing the match with 94, surpassing the previous high of 79, also set against St. Thomas.
  • 3237: Seward became the program's career leader in total attacks over the course of the match, surpassing the previous high-mark of 3,236.

The Seahawks will return to their home floor on Saturday, Oct. 26 for a 2:00 p.m. match with Warner. Keiser swept the Royals on Sept. 21 in the previous matchup between the two teams in Lake Wales, Fla.
