Keiser University Assistant Head Football Coach,
Roy Istvan has been hired by the 2018 Super Bowl Champion, Philadelphia Eagles, as an Assistant Offensive Line Coach.

In addition to his role as an Assistant Head Coach, Istvan served as the Offensive Coordinator and Offensive Line Coach, helping the Seahawks finish with a 6-4 record overall record and 4-2 conference record in their inaugural season.
In year one, the Seahawks twice received votes in the NAIA National poll and climbed as high as No. 25 during week eight. Keiser got off a tremendous start by winning their first two games by a combined score of 69-34.KU boasted a 2-1 record against teams ranked inside the NAIA Top 25 poll and were part of the NAIA National Game of the Week, falling to Ave Maria in week nine, 10-7.

Istvan assisted with five Mid-South All-Conference selections, including; two on the offensive line, one tight end, running back, and quarterback. The offense accounted for 14 touchdowns through the air and 13 on the ground this past season.
Istvan will join an Eagles team, who are coming off a 9-7 season and a 16-15 Wild Card victory over the Chicago Bears. The Eagle went on to fall in the Divisional game to the New Orleans Saints, 20-14.
Keiser will kick off their 2019 campaign on Saturday, September 7 at St. Andrews University in Laurinburg, North Carolina.
