Keiser Highlights
- Senior forward Andrija Matic dominated all night from both inside and outside for his fifth consecutive double-double, as he produced a career-high 38 points to tie the third highest single game scoring performance in Keiser history. Matic was 16-of-23 from the floor (2-of-3 from three) and also controlled a game-high 12 rebounds.
- Marko Orlic contributed 14 points on an efficient 6-of-9 shooting performance with two three-pointers and also six assists.
- Jermar Perkins was plugged into the starting lineup and finished with 11 points while effectively distributing from the point guard position with a team-high eight assists.
- Marko Radulovic was the final Seahawk in double figures, finishing with ten points and also grabbing eight rebounds.
Turning Point
A 12-0 Keiser run starting with five minutes left to play until the 1:33 mark of the second half pulled the Seahawks away from the visiting Stingers, spearheaded by seven points from Matic during that decisive stretch.
How it Happened
- The game started up-tempo, and Keiser led or was tied all the way until the 11:40 mark of the first half when the Stingers went ahead 18-17 as part of a 4-0 spurt.
- Out of a Keiser timeout however, Matic drained a three-pointer to put KU back in front.
- After a Stinger free-throw made it 20-19 Keiser with 10:19 until the break, the Seahawks went on a 7-0 run to seize a 27-19 edge, started by an Orlic three and capped off by a Perkins layup.
- Perkins made a three-pointer moments later with 5:46 on the clock to make it 30-22, and after a Concordia triple in response Matic canned a three of his own to maintain the eight point lead.
- The Seahawk lead reached double-digits for the first time, 37-27, with 3:38 left until the intermission, but the visitors grabbed some momentum headed into the locker rooms with a 12-2 run to tie it up at 39 apiece.
- Keiser netted eight of the second half's first 11 points to go in front 47-42 with 17:10 still to play, but the Stingers quickly responded to grab a 49-47 lead.
- Trailing by three moments later, Orlic hit a three-pointer to tie it up 52-52, and Perkins put the Seahawks ahead 54-52 on the next possession.
- Keiser never trailed and the game was never tied from the point forward as the Seahawks slowly and steadily imposed their will to gain a cushion.
- Concordia drew to within five points at 67-62 with 5:37 to play, but Keiser started a decisive 12-0 run by dictating play on both ends of the floor, continuing to feed Matic down low while forcing the Stingers into contested jump shots to go ahead 79-62 with 1:33 to play, KU's largest lead of the game.
- Matic's 38th point came from the charity stripe with 23 seconds on the clock to make it 80-65, and the senior then exited the came to an ovation from the home crowd in Keiser's sixth win of the season, an 80-66 result.

- Keiser outrebounded the Stingers 37-29, primarily on the strength of the defensive side of the ball, as the Seahawks held Concordia to just 35.8 percent shooting and 11-of-39 from three-point territory (28.2 percent).
- The Seahawks went 33-of-53 from the field (62.3 percent) and converted on 8-of-12 from beyond the arc (66.7 percent).
- 23 of Keiser's 33 field goals come off assists, as the Seahawks executed well on the offensive end in KU's second highest scoring output of the season.

- Matic's 38 points tied for the third highest single game scoring performance in Keiser history, behind only a 40 point outing from Chris Solomon on January 11, 2014 against Thomas University and a 39 point performance from Ra'Shad James vs. Carthage on December 17, 2012.
- Matic additionally tied a school record with 16 made field goals, matching James from his 39 point outing.
- Keiser remained unbeaten in matchups against Concordia (Quebec), improving to 5-0 all-time.

"We executed our game plan and we took good shots," said Head Coach
Bob Starkman. "We picked up our defensive intensity and shared the ball. Perkins had eight assists while Matic had a career night. Four players were in double-figures, we had 32 defensive rebounds, and it was a good win against a tough Canadian university."
