- Long then nailed her second three-pointer of the season to spark a 10-2 run to end the quarter as Keiser went on top, 19-15.
- The Seahawks opened the second period on an 8-0 run, taking their largest lead of the game, 27-15 at the 8:15 mark.
- After trading baskets, the Night Hawks scored seven unanswered points to get within seven, 31-24, forcing KU to take a timeout with 3:28 left in the half.
- TU edged the Seahawks 5-4 down the stretch but Keiser was on top at the halftime break, 35-29.
