Keiser Highlights
  • Keiser University and The Pat Summit Foundation teamed up this afternoon to fight Alzheimer's disease. To show support, fans were able to make donations at the door or online at www.patsummitt.org
  • Three Keiser players finished in double digits for points, led by a game and season-best 25 from Antigonie Sanabria. Sanabria also had her first double-double of the season with ten rebounds.
  • Donivan Dyson poured in 18 points while Kelly Meade came off the bench to score 11 points.
  • Midori Long pulled down a game-high 12 rebounds and Yaire Rodriguez finished with nine boards and a game-best nine assists.
 
Turning Point
The Seahawks started the fourth quarter on a 7-0 run, erasing a one point deficit. The Seahawks would not trail again in the contest while building their lead to as many as 15 points.

How it Happened
  • Warner started quickly by claiming a 7-2 advantage before Keiser took an early timeout with 5:57 remaining in the opening quarter.
  • Out of the huddle, the Seahawks ran off eight straight points to equalize the game at ten-apiece with 2:33 to go.
  • The teams went back-and-forth during the remainder of the quarter with Keiser ahead of the Royals, 17-13.
  • The second quarter featured six lead changes and both teams tallying eleven points apiece with KU in front at the half, 28-24. Sanabria and Meade led the Seahawks with eight points apiece in the half.
  • Keiser built their advantage to 44-35 midway through the third quarter when the Royals used a 12-0 run to reclaim a 47-44 lead at the 1:25 mark.
  • The Seahawks cut the gap to one, 48-47, as the game headed to the final quarter.
  • Keiser started quickly, tallying seven straight points to jump back in front, 54-48 with just two minutes coming off the clock.
  • The Seahawks ballooned the margin to a game-best 15 points on a Sanabria triple, her fourth of the game as KU led 71-56 with 25 ticks to go. KU went on to pick up their ninth win of the season by a final of 73-59.
