The Keiser men's soccer team dropped their first game of the season on Thursday night to No. 7 Mobile, 4-2. The Seahawks led 2-1 at the halftime break before Mobile scored three unanswered goals to complete the comeback.

Stat of the Match
With Keiser playing a man-down for the final 30 minutes of the match, Mobile scored three straight goals to overcome their halftime deficit.
 
How it Happened
  • Mobile started the scoring in the ninth minute as Ronaldo Fortune blasted the ball to the far post off a cross by Takumi Jeannin to lead 1-0.
  • Just 1:40 later, a Seahawk was taken down in the box for a penalty kick. Reigning back-to-back TSC Player of the Week, Ciro Damine stepped up and converted on his 11th goal of the season.
  • Keiser took their first lead of the night in the 16th minute as Joe Rivera and Hannu Tam used perfect one-two passing to find Damine, who did the rest, making it 2-1.
  • Victor Pimentel tallied the equalizer in the 65th minute as he volleyed home his own blocked shot from the top of the box.
  • In the 76th minute, the Rams blitzed the Seahawks with three shots in a minute span before Fortune notched his second goal of the game to give Mobile a 3-2 advantage.
  • Mobile capped the scoring in the 89th minute as Victor Pimentel blasted a shot to the far post off a feed by Fortune, winning 4-2.
 
Game Notes
  • Damine is now tied for the fourth most goals in a season with 12.
  • Damine was recently named TSC Offensive Player of the Week for the second straight week.
  • This is the second meeting in program history with the Rams winning both contests.
  • Felipe Godoy received his first start in goal, making four saves on the night.
