Highlights
Abbie Seward's sixth double-double of the year was not enough to lift the Seahawks volleyball team past Webber International Wednesday night, as Keiser fell to the Warriors in straight sets. Seward finished with 15 kills and 11 digs, while Stephanie Sanchez dished out 21 assists and Morgan Leff tallied 18 digs.

Set One
The Seahawks jumped out to a 6-3 lead when Webber used a quick 3-0 spurt to draw even at 6-6. Both teams then matched each other point for point until the Warriors put together a 4-1 run to jump ahead, 12-10. A Lilyth Cornell kill then sparked four consecutive points for the Seahawks, pushing KU back in front, 14-12. WIU would not yield, however, chipping away until they knotted things up at 16-16 before retaking the lead, 21-18. Keiser then took advantage to a pair of WIU attack errors and a Sanchez kill to draw even again, 21-21. After both teams traded points, the Warriors then claimed three of the final four points to win the set, 25-23.

Set Two
Webber controlled the pace out of the gates, jumping out to a 9-4 advantage and remained in front until the Seahawks tied the match at 14-14. The Warriors then used a 4-0 spurt to push back in front, 18-14. Following a Keiser timeout, the Seahawks chipped away at the deficit, eventually taking the lead, 21-20. After WIU tied the match off of a KU error, Eshe Malone delivered a kill to put the Seahawks back in front, 22-21. However, the Warriors tallied the final four points, taking the set 25-22.

Set Three
WIU carried their momentum into the third set, storming out to a 9-5 lead. The Seahawks then answered with a 7-3 run to tie the match at 12-12. However, Webber then went on an 8-2 spurt of their own to push back in front, 21-14. The Seahawks were able to get as close as 21-18, but the Warriors remained ahead, taking the set, 25-21, completing the sweep.
