  • Keiser upped their lead to 2-0 with an 8-4 victory by Ana Pinto and Emma Henriksen over Lina Sachica and Lucia Mora in the third position.
  • No. 2 Daniela Farfan and Megane Bianco capped off doubles play with the sweep, besting No. 27 Minja Gligic and Jovana Peric, 8-5, from the top slot to give Keiser the 3-0 lead heading into singles.

  • The lone undefeated player on Keiser and No. 37 ranked player in the NAIA, Grela, beat Fiona Curty to clinch the match and secure a spot in the NAIA National Championship match against No. 2 Georgia Gwinnett.

Coach's Corner
ITA Women's Tennis Coach of the Year Daniel Finn said, "So proud of the ladies today! They came out and had to deal with three different lightning delays. Three different times we are warmed up and ready to go and had to come off the courts and refocus. For the ladies to come out to get the 5-0 win over a strong Lindsey Wilson team with everything that was going on was great to see. Our girls battled from the beginning and played on our terms. Now we need to rest up tonight and get ready for the championship match tomorrow."

Up Next
The Seahawks advance on to the National Championship match where they will meet the two-time defending champion, Georgia Gwinnett. The two squads met back on March 24 in Lawrenceville, Ga, with the Seahawks coming away victorious, 5-4.
