Game One
Keiser Highlights
  • The Seahawks pieced together seven hits in the contest, with Janelle Dominguez being the lone batter to record multiple hits.
  • Paige Boyle received the starting nod in the circle, pitching 2.1 shutout innings while allowing just two hits and striking out one in the no-decision.
  • Rylee Agnew tossed 2.2 innings out of the bullpen, striking out one while not giving up a hit and Autumn Green pitched the final two innings, picking up her tenth victory of the season.

Turning Point
Trailing 2-1 in the bottom of the seventh, the Seahawks got two runners in scoring position with two outs as Avery Miller stepped up to bat. The junior came through with the clutch single to right, driving in both runners, lifting Keiser to the 3-2 victory.

How it Happened
  • Game one opened as a pitcher's duel between the Seahawks and Mariners, with both pitching staffs allowed just four combined hits through the first four and a half innings of play.
  • Miller broke the scoreless tie in the bottom of the fifth with her one-out sacrifice fly to center, driving in Bermari Figueroa, who reached on a leadoff single through the left side.
  • However, CCG answered in the top of the sixth with a pair of runs, scoring both with two outs, to push ahead 2-1.
  • After being silenced in the bottom of the sixth, the Seahawks rallied in the seventh, to take game one 3-2.
  • Monika Garabedian worked a 2-2 count before delivering a pinch-hit single to left center to get the inning going. Two batters later, Dominguez singled up the middle, and moved up to second on the throw as pinch-runner Kelsie Thurman advanced to third.
  • Following a KU groundout, Miller won it for the Seahawks as the junior lifted a single to right, driving in Thurman and Dominguez.

Game Two
Keiser Highlights
  • Keiser recorded seven hits in game two, with Garabedian being the only Seahawk to register two hits.
  • For the second time on the afternoon, Boyle received the starting nod in the circle for KU. The freshman struck out a pair while allowing just two hits in the loss.

Turning Point
Coastal Georgia took an early lead, and it was all that was needed. The Mariners pushed across a run in the top of the first, and CCG's pitching did the rest, silencing the Seahawks offence in game two.

How it Happened
  • The Mariners jumped out to a 1-0 advantage in the top of the first on Breanna Burgett's one-out RBI single to left field.
  • Three innings later, Coastal Georgia doubled its lead as Michaela Manly drove in KailiAnn Sadeski with a one-out RBI single to third.
  • Both offenses were kept in check over the final three innings of play, with both teams combining for just four hits in those frames as the Mariners held on for the 2-0 win, splitting the doubleheader.

Up Next
The Seahawks wrap up the regular season this Saturday at home in a doubleheader against South Carolina-Beaufort, beginning at noon.
