Game One
Keiser Highlights
- The Seahawks strung together six hits in game one, with Larrissa Ostrander being the lone KU batter to pick up two hits.
- Autumn Green tossed her fourth complete game shutout of the year en route to her eighth win.
Â
Turning Point
With the tying run on second and the go-ahead run on first with two away in the top of the sixth, Green struck out Samantha Rolfe looking to end the threat.
How it Happened
- The Seahawks pushed across the lone run of the contest in the first as Avery Miller delivered a one-out RBI single down the left field line, scoring Kelsey Brodbeck, who reached on a leadoff single to left center.
- The Warriors threatened to tie the game in the top of the second on a one-out double to right field, but a perfect relay from Test to Ostrander to Janelle Dominguez got Megan Isoba at the plate, trying to score from first.
- Webber had another scoring opportunity in the sixth, as WIU had runners on first and second with two outs, but Green struck out Rolfe to end the inning.

Game Two
Keiser Highlights
- Seven different Seahawks combined for ten hits in game two, with Brodbeck and Test recording multiple hits.
- With her stolen base in the fifth inning, Brodbeck tied the single-season mark of 31, that she set last year.
Turning Point
The long ball was the difference maker for Webber in game two, as the Warriors connected on four home runs, accounting for seven of their runs.
How it Happened
- The Warriors opened the contest with four runs in the opening frame before the Seahawks answered with three of their own in the bottom half to close within 4-3.
- Brodbeck and Test each singled to start the frame and Miller drove in the first run with an RBI single up the middle. An RBI groundout to second by Blumberg plated the second run and Ally Thompson capped the inning with a two-out RBI single through the left side.
- However, Webber answered with four runs in the second and a run in the fourth, stretching their lead to 9-3.
- KU capitalized on an error in the fourth to plate a run and an RBI groundout to third by Miller got the Seahawks to within 9-5 in the fifth.
- Following a scoreless sixth, the Warriors tacked on five runs in the seventh, ballooning their advantage to 14-5.
- Blumberg blasted a two-out, two-run home run to left but it wasn't enough as Keiser dropped the second game, 14-7.
