Turning Point
With the game knotted at 8-8 in the second half, the Seahawks scored five unanswered goals by five different players to take a commanding 13-8 lead with 7:04 left in the game.

How it Happened
  • Georgetown tallied the first two goals before the Seahawks evened things up at the 18:25 mark on unassisted goals from Huber and Mazreku.
  • The Tigers regained a one-goal lead five minutes later but Towner rattled off back-to-back goals to push Keiser in front for the first time on the afternoon, 4-3, with 11:45 remaining.
  • GC's Avery Blackmon tallied three consecutive goals to reclaim a 6-4 advantage back when Huber and Jordan Sullivan netted unassisted goals to deadlock the game, 6-6, heading into the break.
  • Both teams traded goals to open the new half before a Mazreku man-up goal ignited a 5-0 run, pushing the Seahawks out in front 13-8 with 7:04 to play.
  • Georgetown briefly stopped the run when Johnson and Christner notched man-down goals to extend the margin to the largest of the game, 15-9 with 2:06 remaining.
  • The Tigers went on to score the final two goals of the game but it wasn't enough as the Seahawks came away with the 15-11 victory.

Coach's Corner
Head Coach Lauren Bennett said "It was amazing to close out our stretch of home games with another win over a ranked team. Our girls have worked so hard these last two weeks, playing six games in twelve days. Even though they were exhausted, they laid everything they had left in them out on that field and we could not be prouder.
