Game One
Keiser Highlights
  • Autumn Green tossed her third complete-game shutout while earning her fourth win of the year. The junior allowed just four hits and struck out a pair.
  • Kelsie Thurman was the lone Seahawk to register a multi-hit game with a pair of singles.

Turning Point
Keiser led 1-0 in the bottom of the third when Missouri Baptist threatened with runners on the corners and two-away. Green settled down and got Mollett to pop out to end the inning and keep the one-run lead.

How it Happened
  • Kelsey Brodbeck led off with a bunt single to the pitcher, before swiping second and moving to third on a sacrifice bunt by Troiana Test. The senior then crossed the plate on Avery Miller's one-out groundout to short.
  • The Seahawks added an insurance run in the sixth with two-outs, after pinch-hitter, Monika Garabedian kept the inning alive with a single through the right side.
  • Janelle Dominguez followed with an RBI double to left center, plating pinch runner, Larrissa Ostrander, to make it 2-0.
  • Green continued to stifle the Spartan batters in the sixth and seventh innings to complete the shutout.

Game Two
Keiser Highlights
  • Paige Boyle tossed a five-inning, one-hit shutout, earning her second victory of the season.
  • The Seahawks finished with 15 hits in the contest with all nine starters recording at least one.
  • Five Keiser players racked up multi-hit performances during the contest.

Turning Point
Boyle kept the Gallaudet bats silent all afternoon, yielding just one hit, paving way to the freshman's first career shutout in the circle.

How it Happened
  • For the second time on the afternoon, the Seahawks jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the first as Brodbeck scored on a sacrifice fly by Dominguez.
  • An inning later, the KU offense exploded for eight runs, highlighted by RBI singles from Bermari Figueroa, Test, and a two-run RBI double from Dominguez to lead 9-0.
  • Keiser tacked on a pair of runs in the third on a sacrifice fly by Alanie Cora and an RBI pinch-hit double from Alikie Kandler, making it 11-0.
  • The Seahawks continued their offensive dominance in the fourth as Garabedian connected on a solo homer and Kelsie Thurman capped the scoring with an RBI double to win 13-0.
