Game One
Keiser Highlights
- Troiana Test and Aquaria Baines combined for four of the Seahawks five hits in the first game.
- Autumn Green threw a complete game with one strikeout while limiting the Royals to five hits.
Â
Turning Point
Warner used a leadoff homer in the seventh to score the game's first run and shift all the momentum in their favor.
How it Happened
- The Royals had the first real threat of the game in the fourth with runners on second and third with two-outs but Green induced a groundout to short, ending the frame.
- Keiser also threatened in the fourth with the bases loaded and two-away, but pinch-hitter, Monika Garabedian flew out to right for the final out.
- The Seahawks again loaded the bases in the fifth with two outs but a fly out to center by Cheyenne Blumberg stopped the threat.
- Warner then plated the only runs of the game in the seventh with a leadoff home run to left and a one-out fielder's choice, winning, 2-0.
Â
Game Two
Keiser Highlights
- The Seahawks managed just three hits in the contest with Bermari Figueroa having the lone run batted in.
- Rylee Agnew started the game and went five innings with one strikeout. Paige Boyle came in for an inning of relief.
Â
Turning Point
A four-run opening inning by Warner proved to be the difference as the Seahawks were unable to recover, dropping the second game of the doubleheader.
How it Happened
- Warner wasted no time getting on the scoreboard, scoring four runs in the first inning, highlighted by a three-run double to left center by Hammett.
- In the second, Blumberg drew a leadoff walk and Janelle Dominguez followed with a single to left.??? Baines moved both runners up with a sacrifice bunt and Garabedian followed with a walk to load the bases.
- Following a fielder's choice putout at home, Figueroa drew a walk to score the only run of the game.
- The Royals then added a run in the fifth and five in the six to take the shortened game, 10-1.
