Game One
Keiser Highlights
  • Autumn Green tossed a five-inning no-hitter while striking out seven en route to her third win on the year. Green's no-hitter is the first by a KU pitcher since Laura Downs on Feb. 27, 2014.
  • The Seahawks scattered ten hits in the game, with Janelle Dominguez and Ally Thompson leading the way with two hits apiece.
  • Dominguez paced the offense with three runs batted in, including a two-run bomb, while Bermari Figueroa and Avery Miller each drove in a pair.
  • Troiana Test led Keiser on the bases, swiping three bags.

Turning Point
Green's dominance in the circle paved the path for the Seahawks this afternoon as the junior threw a no-hitter. An error in the fifth inning with two-outs prevented the junior from earning the perfect game.

How it Happened
  • Keiser wasted no time Sunday afternoon, jumping out to a 3-0 lead in the first inning.
  • Cheyenne Blumberg plated the first run on an RBI single to center and scored on a two-out, two-run blast to center by Dominguez to lead 3-0.
  • An inning later, the Seahawks stretched the margin to eight by scoring five runs on five hits.
  • The first two batters reached before Figueroa delivered with a two-run single to left, upping the margin to 5-0. Following a one-out walk to Test, Miller delivered with another two-run single to center, extending the advantage to 7-0.
  • Dominguez capped off the inning by driving in her third run of the game with a two-out double to left, making it 8-0.
  • In the third, Brooklyn Frazier came off the bench and delivered a two-out single, scoring Alanie Cora, who reached on a pinch-hit double.
  • The Seahawks scored the final run of the game in the fourth on a passed ball, before Green continued her dominance in the circle, striking out two batters to finish off the no-hitter in a mercy-rule shortened game.

Game Two
Keiser Highlights
  • The Seahawks recorded a season-high 16 hits, including two homers and five doubles.
  • Test was a perfect 4-for-4 at the plate, while Kelsey Brodbeck added three hits.
  • Rylee Agnew improved to 4-1 on the year inside the circle for Keiser, as the freshman tossed four innings, with two strikeouts.

Turning Point
Keiser's ability to deliver with runners on base proved to be lethal as the offense scored 13 runs on the day while only stranding just one baserunner.

How it Happened
  • The Tigers struck first, tallying two runs on three hits in the bottom of the first to take their only lead of the afternoon, 2-0.
  • The Seahawks were unable to break through until the fourth when Blumberg lifted a sacrifice fly to center.
  • Keiser then broke the game open in the fifth, scoring six runs on six hits to claim the advantage for good.
  • Brodbeck delivered the first two runs with a double and came in to score on Test's single to center, to lead 4-2. Dominguez then broke the game open with a three-run blast to extend the margin to 7-2.
  • KU didn't let off the pedal as they added six more runs in the next inning to make it 13-2.
  • Ostrander drove in the first run of the inning with an RBI double to left center before coming in to score on a sacrifice fly.
  • Following back-to-back infield singles by Brodbeck and Test, Miller drove in both runners with a two-out double.
  • Blumberg ended the game with a bang, as she crushed a two-run home run to left, lifting the lead to 13-2.
  • Paige Boyle then retired the side in order in the sixth courtesy of an infield pop out and two strikeouts to cap off the mercy-rule win.
