Game One
Keiser Highlights
  • Taylor Blatch threw his first complete game of the season, striking out five while limiting the Bees to seven hits. The transfer senior is now 4-2 on the year.
  • Seven Keiser hitters recorded a hit in the opening game with middle infielders, CJ Fitzpatrick and Jonathan Fernandez having two hits apiece.
  • Carlos Lopez drove in four runs with three coming off his home run in the first inning.

Turning Point
A three-run shot to left field by Lopez in the opening inning put the Seahawks out in front 3-1, a lead they wouldn't relinquish. The senior has now recorded a long ball in each of the last three games while raising his total to six on the year.

How it Happened
  • Saint Ambrose plated an unearned run in the first before the Seahawks answered with three in the bottom half.
  • Justin Lara and Fitzpatrick drew walks before Lopez connected with a three-run shot over the left field fence to lead 3-1.
  • The Seahawks added a run in the second on an RBI single to center field by Peter Crocitto, plating Fernandez, who led off with a single up the middle, making it 4-1.
  • The Bees got a run back in the fourth on an RBI single through the right side but Keiser came right back with two runs in the bottom half.
  • A passed ball allowed Fernandez to cross the plate and an RBI fielder's choice by Lopez plated the final run of the game.

Game Two
Keiser Highlights
Turning Point
It was the long ball again that proved to be the difference as Keiser connected on a solo shot in the second and a two-run bomb in the fourth.

How it Happened
  • Rivera delivered the game-opening run in the second with a leadoff solo homer to left. A second run came across on an RBI groundout to second by Carlos Pena and a wild pitch capped the scoring with KU in front, 3-0.
  • The first two Seahawks were retired in the fourth, before Torruella singled up the middle and scored on a two-run homer to left by Faneyte, making it 5-0.
  • In the fifth, Keiser loaded the bases with one-out when Rivera cleared the bases with a double to center, pushing the lead to 8-0.
  • Torruella made it a nine-run game with a single to left center, and Pena tacked on two more runs with a double to center, making it 11-0.
  • A Keiser error allowed two runs to score in the sixth but KU got both runs back in the bottom half on a two-out RBI single from Rivera and an RBI triple to center by Sherman, winning 13-2.
