For the second consecutive game, it was Keiser's offensive onslaught in the opening inning as the Seahawks jumped out to a 6-0 advantage.

How it Happened
- The first three Seahawks reached on consecutive walks and a hit by pitch before Rivera cleared the bases with a deep double to center for a 3-0 lead.
- After the first Keiser hitter was retired via a groundout, Faneyte connected on his second straight two-run homer in the opening inning for a 5-0 advantage.
- Back-to-back doubles by Pena and Ryan Gronlier led to the final run of the frame as KU took a commanding six-run lead.
- Ave Maria nearly plated their first run of the game in the second when Nick Wydler tried to score from second but Justin Lara gunned him out at home with a perfect throw from center.
- In the second, a pair of clutch two-out RBI doubles by Karsten Sherman and Faneyte, upped the margin to 8-0.
- The Gyrenes broke through in the next inning with a bases-loaded walk but Alec Lamrouex came in to get the final two-outs by a fielder's choice and a strikeout.
- Following a scoreless fourth, Peter Crocitto tacked on a pair of runs with an RBI single through the side, making it 10-1.
- Gronlier ended the game early with a sacrifice fly to left in the sixth, pushing across Pena, who had reached on a double, winning 11-1 in seven innings.
