Point climbed to within a goal when the Seahawks rattled off seven straight goals to extend their lead to 10-3 with 10:36 left in the second quarter.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Keiser netted the game's opening three goals before Point converted on a man-up opportunity to trail 3-1 with 11:38 remaining in the opening quarter.
- The Sky Hawks found the back of the net just 19 seconds later to pull within one, but Marentette scored his second unassisted goal to lead 4-2.
- After Point got within a goal, Keiser closed the quarter with four unanswered goals to lead 8-3.
- Three straight goals by the Seahawks began the second frame before Point netted their final goal of the game with 4:05 showing.
- Eddie Grieco scored the final goal of the half on an assist by Justin Flint to give the Seahawks a 12-4 advantage at the half.
- KU tacked on four more goals in the third and eight in the fourth to come away with the 24-4 victory.
