Keiser Highlights
  • Deion McClenton picked up yet another double-double, scoring 26 points and grabbing a game-best 18 rebounds.
  • McClenton's layup at the 11:38 mark of the second half gave the senior, 1,637 career points, breaking the program record for points in a career. The previous mark was held by Jon Dunn in 2012.
  • McClenton also set the season-record for the most rebounds in a season, which was previously held by Patrick Horstmann, who had 361 in 2011.
  • Andrija Sarenac connected from distance four times while tallying 18 points, and dishing out a game-high four assists.

Turning Point
Webber used a 19-2 run to open the second half, erasing Keiser's 11-point halftime lead to go out in front 56-50 with 12:34 left to play.
 
How it Happened
  • After allowing Webber to score the game's opening basket, Sarenac connected on a triple to ignite a 9-2 run, giving Keiser a 9-4 lead at the 16:14 mark.
  • However, the Warriors eventually took a 13-12 lead following a pair of free throws from Osandai Vaughn with 12:48 to play.
  • WIU pushed the margin to 15-12 before a McClenton layup sparked an 11-2 run, swinging Keiser back ahead 25-17 with 8:28 remaining in the half.
  • The Seahawks controlled the tempo into the break, only allowing Webber to get within three, 27-24, before pushing the margin to 11, 48-37 at the half.
  • The Warriors came out of the break on fire, outscoring the Seahawks 19-2 to retake a 56-50 lead with 12:34 to play.
  • The Seahawks were able to close within 79-74 with 1:28 to play, but the comeback fell short, as the Warriors won 82-74.
