The No. 4 Keiser women's soccer team fell in the programs first-ever National Championship game to No. 2 William Carey 1-0. The Seahawks conclude the season with a program-best 20 wins along with their Sun Conference Tournament title.
How it Happened
- William Carey scored the lone goal of the national championship in the 15th minute as Anni Rusanen lofted the ball over the keeper from the top of the box.
- The deficit was the first for the Seahawks in their last eight games.
- The Crusaders nearly doubled their lead in the 39th minute but Ana Paula Santos shot went off the crossbar and out of play.
- The scoreline remained the same as the contested headed into the halftime break.
- The Seahawks were outshot 9-3 in the second half before falling in the championship game.

- The game was postponed on Saturday in the 30th minute due to unplayable field conditions with contest still scoreless. Today's game was restarted at 90 minutes.
