How it Happened

• Coastal Georgia jumped out to a 9-4 lead before a Saunders layup started a 6-1 run to even the score at ten-apiece with 3:52 showing.
• The Seahawks tied the score on two more occasions before going into the second quarter, trailing 16-14.
• Saunders opened the second quarter with a jumper to tie the game but the Mariners went on an 18-3 run to take a 34-19 advantage with 3:07 left in the opening half.​​​​​​ Keiser went on to trail Coastal Georgia at the intermission, 38-26.
• The third quarter was a seesaw battle as the Seahawks were unable to get the defecit below ten as KU trailed 57-43 going into the fourth quarter.
• Keiser was outscored 20-17 in the final frame as KU dropped their first Sun Conference game of the year, 77-60.
