Keiser answered right back by taking the next four points to lead, 11-7, leading to a CCG timeout. Out of the break, Coastal Georgia outscored the Seahawks 18-7 to take the first set, 25-18.
Set Two
The Mariners sailed out to a 7-3 advantage and didn't allow KU any closer than one, 11-10. Coastal Georgia pushed their lead out to as many as six, 17-11 and went on to win the set, 25-17 to lead 2-0 in the match.
Set Three
Jordan Odom served Keiser's first three points while helping the Seahawks up the margin 6-2. Coastal Georgia battled back to equalize the set at nine-apiece. Following two ties, the Seahawks went on a 7-1 run, highlighted by a pair of Seward kills and Sanchez service aces to claim an 18-12 advantage. The Mariners got as close as 22-19 but KU would hold on for the 25-20 victory and pull within 2-1 in the match.
