Stat of the Match
Keiser outshot the Gyrenes 15-8 in the first half and 9-3 in the second half for a total of 24-11 in the contest.

How it Happened
  • The Seahawks got on the board in the 16th minute as Meski crossed the ball from the right side to Sebastian Espino in the middle of the box. Espino then played the ball to the top of the box, where Theo Campbell fired his shot into the back of the net, his fourth goal of the season.
  • Ciro Damine then tallied the next two goals in a one minute span to make it 3-0 with 24 minutes remaining in the opening half. Meski and Isaias Lobos were credited with the assists.
  • It was Ave Maria's turn to score a pair of goals in a one minute span as the Gyrenes pulled to within one at the 35-minute mark.
  • For the second straight game, Keiser were beneficiaries of an own goal as the Seahawks led 4-2 with nine minutes remaining in the opening half.
  • However, the Gyrenes again pulled to within one in the 38th minute as Kaveon Dux scored his second goal of the half. Neither team would score again as KU held a 4-3 advantage at the half.
  • Three minutes into the new half, Espino headed in the fifth goal for the Seahawks off a terrific cross from Balaguer to lead 5-3.
  • The Seahawks then made it a three-goal game in the 65th minute as Luca Bargiggia played a long ball over the top to a streaking Balaguer down the left side. Balaguer then one-touched the ball across the box to Espino for his second tally of the game.
  • AMU notched a late goal in the 87th minute but it wasn't enough as Keiser was victorious on senior day, 6-4.

Coach's Corner
Head Coach Gavin Oldham said, "Guess it was a good game for the neutral to watch, going forward we created a lot again and played some really nice football. We know the areas that we can improve in and we'll do that over the next couple of days. We have been fighting an injury bug for the past few weeks and with the conference tournament around the corner, hopefully, we can start to get a few of the guys back in time for that. First of all, we need to focus on the game this weekend and build on this victory today.
A quick thanks to all the seniors for all their time and effort, much appreciated."
