The sixth-ranked women's soccer team went on the road Saturday evening and shutout Warner 2-0 in Sun Conference play. The shutout was the eighth of the season and sixth during conference play.

Stat of the Match
The Seahawks kept their foot on the gas pedal all evening, outshooting Warner 29-4 and 15-2 on shots on goal.

How it Happened
  • The first half was a stalemate despite the Seahawks holding a commanding 12-3 advantage on shots. Sarah Bergkvist was strong in goal for the Royals, making seven saves.
  • Maxi Krug took advantage of a free kick in the 50th minute as the sophomore fired her shot to the upper left corner for the 1-0 lead.
  • Keiser notched the final goal with 23 seconds remaining in regulation as the freshman, Matilda Ovenberger scored her 23rd goal of the season off an assist from Ebba Gustafsson.
 
Game Notes
  • The Seahawks remain perfect against the Royals all-time, moving to 17-0-0.
  • Keiser extended their winning streak to four games and are now unbeaten in their previous 12 games.
  • Nina Haeberlin is now two saves shy of tying the season record most saves with 62, currently held by Mia Moller in 2009.
  • After missing the previous two games, Ovenberger finished with a game-best nine shots including five on frame.
