How It Happened
  • The Seahawks opened the scoring in the ninth minute, when Blixt beat the keeper off a rebounded shot by Kiera Heslam that went off the crossbar.

  • In the 56th minute, Millqvist scored off a through ball by Ebba Gustafsson to make it 3-1.
  • Two minutes later, Heslam and Gustafsson linked up on the assist for Blixt's third goal of the afternoon, upping the lead to 4-1.
  • Beth Smyth then found the back of the net in the 75th and 82nd minute off assists by Riley MacLeod and Cooper Mullins.
  • Mullins capped the scoring in the 86th minute with her header off a cross by Jessica MacLeod, winning 7-1.

Coach's Corner
Head Coach Mat Dunn said, "Today was a great team performance against a tough team in SCAD. The girls have been battling illness this week and to come out and score seven goals and put up 26 shots, speaks volumes about them. It is great to have Amanda back as she is a big piece to our team that has been missing. She really stepped up this week with scoring five goals in the two games. Now, we need to get ready to defend our turf and crown against a quality team in Southeastern."

Up Next
Keiser returns to the field on Wednesday for a huge Sun Conference showdown against No. 14 Southeastern at 12:30 p.m. Last season, these two teams met twice in West Palm Beach, with Keiser winning 2-1 and then in penalties to claim the Sun Conference Tournament championship.
