Turning Point
Hector Marmol's two-run homerun in the top of the ninth proved to be the turning point in tonight's contest. With a runner on first and two away in the top of the ninth, Marmol stepped up to the plate and belted a 3-1 fastball over the right field fence to knot the contest at 6-6. Marmol's homerun provided the Grenadiers with momentum as IU Southeast went on to score three runs in the top of the 10
th inning to claim the 9-6 victory.

How it Happened
- Keiser grabbed the early 3-0 advantage after the first inning, scoring three unearned runs on three hits and one Grenadier error.
- The first Seahawk run came off the bat of Brad Myott as the senior reached on a fielding error by the second baseman, sending Gabby Mundo in from third for the 1-0 lead.
- After Pena flew out for the second out, Curtis plated two runners in Berges and Tyler Hitt with a single through the left side of the infield for the 3-0 advantage.
- IU Southeast had a chance to score in the top of the second inning with bases loaded and one away until Kyle Keatts struck out Matt Volz and then induced an inning-ending pop up off the bat of Zach Reboulet.
- The Grenadiers claimed the 4-3 lead in the top of the fifth inning, plating four runs on two hits, highlighted by Marmol's two-RBI single.
- Keiser reclaimed the lead in the bottom of the sixth inning, scoring two runs on two hits.
- The first Seahawk run came from Dylan Dore with an RBI sacrifice bunt, bringing home Pena from third and sending Curtis to second.
- Reyni Olivero provided Keiser with the one-run lead two batters later with an RBI single to center field.
- Olivero preserved the lead in the top of the seventh inning, making a sliding catch while avoiding a collision with Mundo and Pena to strand the Grenadier runner on second.
- Keiser stretched its lead to 6-4 in the bottom of the seventh frame as Berges laced a double down the left field line, plating Mundo from first.
- The top of the ninth inning proved to be a dramatic finish for the ages as Josh Beams led off the inning with a single but was then a part of a double play from Richard Rodriguez to pull Keiser to within one out of history.
- After Barnes was walked, Marmol unloaded on a game-tying two-run homerun with two away, flipping the script on the ballgame and shifting the momentum in the favor of the Grenadiers.
- Keiser had a chance to score in the bottom of the ninth inning with runners on first and second until Myott grounded into a 4-6-3 inning-ending double play.
- IU Southeast plated three runs on three hits in the top of the 10th inning to claim the 9-6 lead, highlighted by Rodriguez's two-run triple to center field.
- Keiser went 1-2-3 in the bottom of the 10th to solidify the three-run victory for the Grenadiers, forcing a winner-take-all game tomorrow.
