How it Happened
- Warner took a quick 1-0 lead in the first on a one-out double by Jessica Adams but Keiser tied it in the second when Alyssa Cabral scored on a throwing error by the catcher.
- The Royals came right back with three runs on three singles to retake a 4-1 advantage in the bottom half.
- In the third, Kristen Garceau led off with a single to center and moved to third on a Cassidy Miller single to right. Cheyenne Blumberg plated Garceau with a foul out to the right fielder, getting to within 4-2. An error by the Royals first basemen allowed Kelsie Thurman to score from third, making it 4-3.
- Neither team managed a run in the final four innings with Jones throwing a gem in relief, allowing just one hit but Keiser was unable to score a run.

How it Happened
- Garceau started the game with a single to the pitcher and stole second. Kelsey Brodbeck then reached on an error by the second basemen and a bad throw allowed Garceau to score from second for a 1-0 advantage.
- Warner matched the run in the bottom half with a one-out single by Adams, tying the game at 1-1.
- After the first two Seahawks were retired in the third, C. Miller laced a double and moved to third on a single to center by Blumberg. However, Chelsie Valentine got Avery Miller to groundout to third, ending the inning.
- The Royals snatched the lead in the third on a one-out fielder's choice by Megan Hammett, making it 2-1. Jones limited the damage as she got Ashton Sparkman to ground out to first with the bases loaded.
- Keiser threatened in the fifth with runners on the corners and two outs but Valentine got A. Miller to foul out to the first basemen, keeping the deficit at 2-1. Â Â
- In the sixth, a two-out double by Adams upped the advantage to 3-1 and an RBI single by Davis made pushed the margin to 4-1.
- Keiser attempted a comeback in the seventh when Garceau and Brodbeck reached base with singles. C. Miller then scored Garceau from second with a single to third, to get within 4-2. However, Keiser were unable to push another run across the board.
