  • Cheyenne Blumberg also finished the contest with three runs batted in, followed by Cassidy Miller with two.
  • Riley Caylor earned the win on the mound, pitching six and two-thirds innings with four runs on 10 hits and two strikeouts to improve to 8-8.

Turning Point
Bermari Figueroa's three-run shot to left field in the bottom of the ninth inning proved to be the difference in game one. Figueroa's homer was the first Keiser homerun at home this season, securing the 13-10 victory over the Bobcats.

How it Happened
  • The Bobcats had a chance to score in the top of the first inning until Alliyah Sands was stranded on third following Alexis Castroman's strikeout to end the threat.
  • The Seahawks had a similar bottom half of the first inning, stranding Kristen Garceau on third as Cheyenne Blumberg laced a sharp ground ball to second to end the opening frame.
  • Keiser plated one run in the bottom of the second inning on a two-out rally, beginning with Alyssa Cabral's double to right field.
  • Cabral scored the first run of the game, swiping third and then advancing home following the throwing error by the catcher, placing Troiana Test on third after reaching base on balls.
  • Test was stranded at third to end the second inning as the Seahawks were unable to stretch their lead following Bermari Figueroa's ground out to second.
  • St. Thomas loaded the bases with nobody out in the top of the third inning to threaten for the second time in the contest.
  • The Bobcats scored their first run of the game following a passed ball, plating Dayma Pla from third to even the game at 1-1.
  • St. Thomas then took the lead after a Melody Grafals single to left field brought home Michelle Murch for the 2-1 advantage.
  • The Bobcats added four more runs in the inning, breaking the game wide open for a 6-1 advantage.
  • Keiser loaded the bases in the bottom of the third with nobody out, aiming to cut into the St. Thomas lead.
  • The Seahawks added two runs off back-to-back bases-loaded walks by Blumberg and Avery Miller to trim the deficit to 6-3 with nobody out.
  • Carly Nicholas then singled sharply through the third baseman's legs to plate Erica Williams to trim the St. Thomas lead to 6-4, keeping the bases juiced.
  • Cabral came through with a single of her own to bring home Blumberg, trimming the Bobcats' lead to just 6-5.
  • Keiser tied the contest at six apiece after Figueroa flew out to right field and Avery Miller scored from third after the throwing error by the St. Thomas right fielder.
  • The Bobcats regained the lead in the top of the fourth inning following Sands' two-out single to plate Bunker for the 7-6 advantage.
  • St. Thomas stretched its lead to 9-6 in the top of the sixth inning off Grafals' two-run moon shot over the left field fence.
  • The Seahawks were not out of the ballgame, scoring three runs with one out in the bottom of the sixth inning to tie the contest at 9-9.
  • The first run came off the bat of Cassidy Miller, reaching on an error, as Garceau scored from third to trim the Bobcats' lead to 9-7.
  • Blumberg came through in the clutch on the next at bat, lacing a single to left center to bring in Kelsey Brodbeck and Cassidy Miller to knot the game at 9-9.
  • Neither team was able to score in the seventh inning, sending the contest into extras.
  • Due to international rules St. Thomas placed a runner on second to begin the eighth inning, later scoring after Grafals doubled to right center for her fourth hit and fourth RBI of the game for the 10-9 lead.
  • Keiser began the bottom of the eighth inning with Garceau being placed on second due to the international rules.
  • Brodbeck bunted herself onto the bases, moving Garceau to third to place runners on the corners with nobody out.
  • After Brodbeck stole second, Cassidy Miller lifted a sacrifice fly to left field to plate Garceau for the tying run.
  • The drama continued in game one as Brodbeck was gunned down on a bang-bang play at the plate that would have ended the game following Blumberg's sharp grounder to second, preserving the 10-10 tie.
  • The Seahawks were unable to score the go-ahead runner from second, sending the contest into the ninth inning.
  • The start of the ninth inning was filled with drama from the start as Emily Santos bunted and was called out at first in addition to being called for runner's interference, sending the St. Thomas run that scored back to third.
  • St. Thomas was unable to plate the runner from third, sending the contest into the bottom of the ninth inning all knotted at 10-10.
  • Figueroa delivered arguably the biggest hit at Alumni Field this season in the bottom of the ninth inning, launching a three-run walk off homerun for the first Keiser dinger at Alumni Field on the year, claiming the 13-10 victory.
