Keiser and Ave Maria began the day off by continuing a suspended conference contest from Feb. 25 that was called due to darkness following the seventh inning with the score knotted at 10 apiece. The Seahawks were trailing 10-4 heading into the bottom of the seventh before rattling off six runs to stay alive to force the continuation of the game.

- CJ Fitzpatrick finished the contest going 3-5 with one run batted in to lead the Seahawks in hits.
- Tivon Faneyte, Jack Curtis and Carlos Pena finished the contest with two hits apiece while Faneyte and Dylan Dore paced the team in runs batted in with three each.
- The Seahawks used three pitchers to earn the win with Keivan Berges earning the win after pitching two innings with two strikeouts.

Turning Point
The turning point in the continuation of game one happened on Feb. 25 when the Seahawks scored six runs on seven hits in the bottom of the seventh inning to tie the game at 10-10, forcing the suspension of the contest.

How it Happened
- We picked up the contest in the top of the 8th inning with Keivan Berges pitching, recording a 1-2-3 inning to preserve the 10-10 tie headed into the bottom of the frame.
- Keiser claimed the 11-10 advantage in the bottom of the eighth inning following Carlos Pena's RBI single, plating Tyler Hitt from third who was in to pinch run for Jack Curtis who reached on a triple.
- The Seahawks then had runners on first and third with two outs before Dylan Dore grounded out to end the inning with an 11-10 advantage.
- Berges struck out two of the final five batters to preserve the one-run victory to notch conference win number 15.

Keiser Highlights
- Saldivar, Myott and Casanueva led the offense with two hits apiece in game two of Wednesday's doubleheader, while Myott and Faneyte paced the team in runs batted in with two.
- David Recio earned his first collegiate win on the mound, pitching two and two-thirds innings of work, yielding one run on four hits and striking out three batters.

Turning Point
Keiser's five-run fourth inning proved to be the difference maker in the contest as the Seahawks stretched a one-run lead into a six-run lead following the fourth inning.
How it Happened
- The Gyrenes left the bases loaded to open the top of the first following Dinesen's strikeout looking to end the Ave Maria threat.
- Keiser then loaded the bases in the bottom of the first inning after drawing three walks in the inning.
- The Seahawks' threat was ended after Faneyte laced a line drive to right center that was caught by Dinesen who had to lay out to make the catch as the ball was tailing towards the gap.
- Ave Maria loaded the bases for the second consecutive inning with two outs, only to fall short as Soto grounded out to Curtis at third to end the inning.
- The Seahawks claimed the 1-0 lead in the bottom of the second inning following a Zack Saldivar single up the middle, plating Miguel Casanueva from second.
- Keiser had another chance to score in the bottom of the third until Casanueva struck out swinging with runners on second and third.
- The Seahawks broke the game open in the bottom of the fourth, scoring five runs on four hits beginning with Brad Myott's two-RBI single to center field.
- Curtis then singled to the shortstop to plate Berges from third for the 4-0 Keiser advantage.
- Faneyte capped off the five-run inning with a two-run bomb to left field, sending the ball over the canal for the 6-0 lead.
- Ave Maria closed the gap to 6-1 in the top of the fifth inning following Keegan's single to center field, bringing Soto home from second.
- The Gyrenes nearly scored again in the top of the sixth inning with runners on second and third and one out until Allen lined out to third following Valentine's ground out to shortstop to end the inning.
- The Gyrenes were unable to cut further into the deficit as Johnathan Clarke shut the door on Ave Maria for the win.

Keiser will return to action on Friday when the Seahawks take on No. 3 Southeastern at 6 p.m. in Lakeland, Fla. The Seahawks and Fire are currently tied atop the Sun Conference leaderboard with a 15-3 mark in conference play.
