Turning Point
The turning point of the game came in the bottom of the seventh inning when the Seahawks rallied from a run down with two outs to tie the game at 6-6 and send the contest into extra innings.

How it Happened
- Ave Maria jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the second on a two-out double to left field but the Seahawks plated three runs in the bottom half.
- Avery Miller led off with a single to left center and moved to third on a one-out double to left center by Aquaria Baines. Alyssa Cabral tied the game with a two-run single to center field. Kelsey Brodbeck then put the Seahawks in the lead with an RBI groundout to third.
- However, the Gyrenes came right back with three runs on a pair of singles for a 5-3 advantage in the third.
- A leadoff solo homerun to left in the fourth by Cheyenne Blumberg cut the deficit to 5-4. After retiring the first batter of the inning, Troiana Test walked and stole second and third. An error on the right fielder allowed Test to cross the plate, tying the game at 5-5.
- Ave Maria retook a 6-5 lead in the sixth on a leadoff solo homer to centerfield.
- The Seahawks had a two-out rally in the bottom of the seventh. Kristen Garceau laced a double to left field and scored on a Cassidy Miller double down the left field line. Keiser then loaded the bases but Blumberg flew out to the center, sending the game into extra innings.
- After Blumberg was placed on second base in the eighth, Baines moved her to third with a sacrifice bunt. An error and a walk followed to the load the bases, and a sacrifice fly to center by Brodbeck won the game 7-6.

The Seahawks return home on Friday afternoon when they jump into Sun Conference play against Thomas University.
