Turning Point
The turning point of the game came in the first inning when the Seahawks struck with two runs and Caylor would do the rest, holding USCB to just three hits throughout the contest.
How it Happened
- Kelsey Brodbeck and Kristen Garceau started the game with bunt singles before coming around to score on a two-run single down the left field line by Cheyenne Blumberg.
- The Sand Sharks responded in the bottom half with a one-out single to left field, cutting the deficit to 2-1.
- Keiser threatened in the fourth after Blumberg led off with a single and moved to second on an Avery Miller sacrifice bunt. A wild pitch then moved her to third but Abby Pac got the next two Seahawks to strikeout.
- In the seventh, A. Miller and Carly Nicholas reached on singles and moved up a base on a Troiana Test sacrifice bunt. However, USCB got Bermari Figueroa to ground out to end the inning.

The turning point of the game came from the pitching of Caylor who threw her second complete game of the day and held USCB again to just one run.
How it Happened
- After the game went scoreless through the first two innings, the Seahawks struck with two runs in the third.
- Garceau and Brodbeck had back-to-back singles and moved up a base on a sacrifice bunt by Cassidy Miller. Blumberg then plated Garceau with an RBI single to left, making it 1-0.
- After the USCB catcher threw down to second trying to get Blumberg stealing, Brodbeck took off for home and scored, upping the advantage to 2-0.
- In the fifth, Brodbeck led off with a bunt single and then stole second. C. Miller pushed her to third with a sacrifice bunt and scored on an RBI single to right center by Blumberg, upping the lead to 3-0.
- Caylor had her no hitter broken up the fifth on a leadoff single by Natassja Hatcher but were unable to do anything in the inning.
- The Sand Sharks loaded the bases in the sixth and plated their first run on an error by the Seahawks left fielder, making it 3-1. However, Caylor settled down and got a groundout and a line out to end the frame.
- In the seventh, Garceau started it with a single up the middle and then Brodbeck reached on an error. C. Miller laid down her third sacrifice of the game, moving both runners up a bag. A. Miller pushed Garceau across on a single to center, extending the margin to 4-1.
- A passed ball allowed the final run for the Seahawks to come across to make it 5-1.
- USCB would not go away quietly as they loaded the bases in the bottom half with one out but Caylor got a foul out and a line out to win the game 5-1.
