Turning Point
The turning point in today's contest was the coaching decisions by head coach Terri Knecht. With the score knotted at 4-4 and Garceau on second, Knecht opted for back-to-back bunts to bring Garceau home for the walk-off victory.

How it Happened
  • Kelsey Brodbeck registered the first hit of the game with a bunt single back to the pitcher with one out in the bottom of the first inning.
  • After Brodbeck swiped second and third, Webber's Brandi Hazen made a heads up play by tagging out Brodbeck at third following a sharp grounder by Cassidy Miller.
  • After Miller advanced to third on a wild pitch, the senior scored following a Cheyenne Blumberg single to right field for the 1-0 Keiser lead.
  • Two batters later, Alyssa Cabral walked and Blumberg scored from second after an errant throw by Victoria Atkinson to double the Keiser lead to 2-0.
  • The Warriors wasted no time in tying the contest as Meghan Lindell belted a two-run blast to left center with one out in the top of the second inning, knotting the game at 2-2.
  • Webber claimed the 3-2 advantage in the top of the third following a wild pitch from Riley Caylor, scoring Ka'Deisha McCowen from third with two outs in the inning.
  • The Webber lead was short lived as the Seahawks reclaimed the advantage in the bottom of the third after Cabral laced a double to right field, scoring Kelsie Thurmond and Blumberg for the 4-3 lead.
  • Both squads were held scoreless over the next two innings, combining for just one hit between the two teams.
  • The Warriors evened the contest at four apiece in the sixth inning following Atkinson's RBI single to center field, scoring Alyssa Householder from third with one out in the frame.
  • The Seahawks held Webber scoreless in the top of the seventh, setting up the dramatic finish for Keiser.
  • Kristen Garceau led off the bottom of the seventh with a single to second, advancing to second base following the batted ball.
  • Brodbeck advanced Garceau to third following her own bunt single to put the runners on the corners with nobody out.
  • Cassidy Miller brought the winning run home after Knecht reached into her bag of tricks by calling for the squeeze play, scoring Garceau following the perfect bunt by Miller.
