Turning Point
The turning point of the game occurred in the bottom of the first when USCB was trailing 1-0 but scored three runs to take a 3-1 advantage.

How it Happened

• Kelsey Brodbeck laid down a one-out bunt in the first and moved to second on a throwing error by the center fielder following a fly out. Brodbeck then stole third and scored on a Cheyenne Blumberg single to left, making it 1-0.
• Avery Miller followed with a single but Abby Pac got Alyssa Cabral to fly out to end the inning.
• USCB struck with three runs in the bottom of the first on a pair of doubles and a sacrifice fly.
• The Sand Sharks added two more runs in the fifth on a sacrifice lineout and an RBI single to center, upping the advantage to 5-1.
