The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the 2015-16 Division II Men's Basketball All-America teams.
Stanley Whittaker and
Deion McClenton were named Honorable Mention All-American.
Whittaker, a 6-0 senior guard from Philadelphia, PA earned All-American honors for the second straight season. Whittaker was named First team All-Conference and led the team in assists per game with 6.8 and was second on the team in scoring, averaging 13.8 points. He had three double-doubles and one triple-double on the season. Whittaker was third in the NAIA with 6.8 assists per game and fifth in total assists with 219.
McClenton, a 6-10 junior guard from Columbus, GA earned All-American honors for the second-straight season. McClenton was named First team All-Conference and led the Seahawks in scoring with 16.5 points per game and rebounds 11.1 per contest. Deion had 18 double-doubles on the year and had a season-best 22 rebounds against Thomas. McClenton was second in the NAIA shooting 69 percent and was third in total rebounds per game with 11.1.
