Turning Point
The Bobcat's 13-7 run to end the second quarter proved to be the turning point in tonight's contest. The Seahawks held the 23-15 advantage with 9:25 left in the first half. The Seahawks were only able to muster together six more points in the final 9:25 of the second quarter, clinging to the 29-28 advantage at halftime. The St. Thomas run shifted the momentum in favor of the Bobcats.

How it Happened
  • The Seahawks jumped out to the early 10-2 advantage with 8:22 remaining in the quarter, a run that was capped off by a Patton triple.
  • The Bobcats trimmed the Keiser lead to as little as four after back-to-back free throws by Emily May with 6:35 left in the first quarter.
  • However, the Seahawks were able to keep their feet on the gas and outscored St. Thomas 9-4 in the final 6:35 of the first frame to take the 21-12 advantage.
  • Things would slowly go downhill for the Seahawks as Keiser scored just two points during the first 3:11 of the second quarter.
  • St. Thomas surged behind Keiser's scoring draught as the Bobcats outscored the Seahawks in the second quarter, 16-8, cutting the Seahawks lead to just one at the half.
  • Keiser and St. Thomas traded the first two baskets of the new half before the Bobcats went on to outscore the Seahawks 26-11 in the final 9:32 of the third quarter.
  • The Bobcats maintained the double-digit advantage for much of the final quarter until Patton drained a triple with 1:27 left on the clock to cut the deficit to nine.
  • Keiser would close the gap to as little as seven points off Miah Shpehard's three pointer but it would be too little too late as the Bobcats cruised to the seven-point victory in the conference semifinals.
