• The Seahawks claimed the first doubles point after the Gyrenes forfeited the No. 3 slot to No. 20 Teodora Stanciu and Juliana Goncalves.
• The lead was extended to two when Samantha Guy and Lorene Foerste upended Mary Hardin and Kaylee Kutchta in the No. 2 doubles position, 8-1.
• Keiser completed the doubles sweep when the No. 9 doubles tandem of Megane Bianco and Julianna Heino swept Marianna Vargas and Camila Branstner in the No. 1 doubles position, 8-0.

 
Singles

• The Seahawks clinched the match in singles play before having to compete as the Gyrenes forfeited the No. 5 and No. 6 singles slots to give Keiser the 5-0 lead.
• Keiser played out the final four singles matches, yielding just one game to the Gyrenes as the Seahawks combined for seven 6-0 sets.

"The ladies did a good job of coming out and taking care of business today," state head coach Daniel Finn. "We had to battle some weather in a few rain delays and the girls did a great job of staying focused and playing their tennis. The ladies team is really starting to come together and playing better tennis every day. We look forward to putting that to the test against a strong team in Oakland University on Friday."
