Meanwhile, the Seahawks fall to 4-3 on the year with all three losses coming to NCAA Division II opponents (Embry-Riddle, Nova Southeastern, Barry).

  • Stanciu could not muster a Keiser win in the third set, falling 10-7 in the No. 4 singles position.

Coach's Corner
"We did not play very well period," stated head coach Daniel Finn. "Today was not one of our better performances in terms of executing and coming up with shots when we needed them. Credit to Barry though, they have a very good team that will be contending for an NCAA Division II championship this season. Nonetheless, we have to get better on our execution and playing our best when the points matter the most. We will use today as a learning experience and work on the things we need to work on to get ready for this weekend."

Up Next
Keiser will return to action on Friday when the Seahawks travel to Lawrenceville, Ga., to partake in the Grizzly Invitational hosted by Georgia Gwinnett. The Seahawks will take on Xavier (La.) on Friday at 11 a.m. and then turn around to play the host Grizzlies on Saturday at 11 a.m.
