With just a minute and a half remaining in the contest and Keiser trailing by three, Southeastern scored the game's final seven points to end Keiser's comeback hopes.
 
How it Happened

• After trading baskets to open the contest, Micah Goss scored the next seven points to put KU ahead 9-2 at the 13:38 mark.
• The Seahawks pushed the margin to 12-3 before the Fire responded with a 12-0 run to take a 15-12 advantage with 10:13 left to play in the half.
• Keiser needed just two and a half minutes to tie the game at 16-apiece, but the Fire answered with a 14-5 run to extend their advantage to 30-21 with 4:46 remaining.
• The Seahawks climbed to within 40-36 but went into the locker room trailing 43-38.
• KU cut the defecit to 48-47 at the 17:43 mark but SEU went on a 7-1 run, upping the margin to 55-48.
• The Seahawks were unable to get within a possession until Sarenac connected on back-to-back three-pointers to trail 78-76 with 3:58 remaining.
• Keiser stayed within a possession until there was 1:56 to play and SEU closed the game on a 7-0 spurt to hand the Seahawks their first conference loss.
