  • Donivan Dyson scored a game-high 18 points going seven-of-eleven from the field and four-of-five from the free throw line.

Turning Point
The turning point this afternoon came early in the contest after Keiser scored on their opening possession and Marian came right back with a 13-0 run to take control of the game.
 
How it Happened
  • After the Seahawks won the opening tip, Kensha'dra Smith connected on a basket from beyond the arc for their only lead of the game.
  • Marian then answered with a fury as they ran off 13 unanswered points to take a 13-3 advantage with 7:12 remaining in the quarter.
  • KU cut the deficit to 13-8 at the 4:44 mark but trailed 27-14 at the end of the first quarter.
  • The Knights outscored Keiser 20-13 in the second frame and went into the locker room, leading 47-27.
  • Marian kept control of the contest in the second half and went on to win by the final of 86-56.
