How it Happened
  • After Coastal Georgia scored five unanswered points in the game's first two minutes, Keiser battled back to tie the game at ten at the 3:03 mark in the first quarter.
  • CCG's Solrun Gisladottir hit a jumper with 1:14 on the clock in the first quarter for the final bucket of the period, giving the Mariners a 12-10 edge after one.
  • The Mariners opened the second quarter with a 12-4 run over the first four minutes of the period to jump ahead 24-14.
  • Coastal Georgia closed out the final seven minutes of the half outscoring the Seahawks 9-8 to lead 33-22 going into the break.
  • Trailing 39-24 with just under seven minutes on the clock in the third, Dyson led the Seahawks on a 10-2 run over the next three minutes of play to bring the score to 41-37, forcing the Mariners to take a timeout.
  • Out of the timeout, the Seahawks edged the Mariners 7-6 down the stretch, ending the third quarter 47-41 in favor of Coastal Georgia.
  • Dyson opened the final quarter with a jumper to bring Keiser within four, but Sudney Segroves of Coastal Georgia responded with a 3-pointer, putting them back up by 7.
  • Over the next four minutes, the Seahawks outscored CCG 7-4 capped off by back-to-back made free throws from Kensha'dra Smith to bring the Seahawks back within four again at the 4:54 mark.
  • Coastal Georgia closed out the final minutes of the quarter outscoring Keiser 12-9 while hitting their only attempt from the field and knocking down 10-12 from the charity stripe to bring the game to its final score of 66-59.
