Turning Point
The turning point came in the eleventh minute of the contest as an own-goal by the Night Hawks pushed the Seahawks in front, swinging momentum in Keiser's favor for the remainder of the contest.

How It Happened
  • A Thomas defensive lapse gave KU their first goal of the day, as the Night Hawks scored an own-goal in the 11th minute of play. The score line would hold heading into the halftime break.
  • Blixt then scored her first goal of the day early in the second half to give the Seahawks a 2-0 lead in the 50th minute. Her goal was assisted by Tova Nilsson.
  • However, the Night Hawks cut the lead in half, eight minutes later with a goal by Katy Hunt.
  • Keiser answered two minutes later when Blixt scored her second goal of the contest to push the Seahawk advantage to 3-1 on an assist by Filippa Millqvist.
  • Less than a minute later, Emma Holmskov scored the fourth and final Keiser goal of the match. The goal is the fifth on the year for the freshman.

Coach's Corner
Head Coach Mat Dunn said, "It's always good winning on the road, especially in a tough place to play. We were really happy with Madeleine Berghult's performance at right back and Kendal Davis came on well for Olivia White. It is great for Emma to get another goal, and Amanda has been very strong for us since coming back. Lastly, to get four goals speaks volumes for our offense and we will keep the momentum going as we get ready for St. Thomas."

Up Next
Keiser returns to action on Wednesday when the Seahawks welcome St. Thomas to West Palm Beach for a Sun Conference contest. The game will begin at 3:00 p.m.
