Turning Point
The turning point in tonight's contest came in the second quarter when the Virgin Islands closed to within 13-12 but the Seahawks answered with a 9-0 run over the next five minutes to lead 22-12.

How it Happened
- Dyson tallied the first four points of the season as the Seahawks jumped out to an 8-2 advantage with 5:38 left in the quarter.
- After a Virgin Islands three-pointer, a free throw by Midori Long sparked a 5-0 run to stretch the KU lead to 13-5 at 2:39 mark. The Seahawks went on to hold a slim 13-11 lead at the end of the first quarter.
- The Buccaneers split a pair of free throws to open the quarter, but a Kelly Meade layup started a 9-0 run, upping the margin to 22-12, midway through the quarter.
- Virgin Islands got to within 26-20 when Kensha'dra Smith tallied five of the final six KU points to lead 32-20 at the halftime break.
- The Bucs trimmed the deficit to 34-27 when Caity Riley and Kelsi Ash connected on back-to-back threes, upping the margin to 40-27 with 3:24 remaining in the frame.
- With the score, 52-37 Keiser at the 7:21 mark of the final quarter, Dyson scored the final eight Keiser points as they went on to win, 60-44.
