TURNING POINT

Andrija Sarenac had a game winning shot go off the front rim as time expired with the Seahawks falling in a thriller.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Both teams started out cold over the first two minutes before Deion McClenton scored and Sarenac connected on a three pointer forcing the Lions into an early timeout trailing 5-0.
- Keiser extended their lead out to 10-2 following Sarenac's second three of the game but Florida Memorial answered with a 13-4 run to take their first lead of 15-14 with 13:29 showing.
- The Lions upped the deficit to 22-17 before a Tyrus Weaver jumper sparked a 12-0 run capped by a Whittaker three pointer, regaining a 29-22 advantage with 6:15 left in the half.
- After both teams traded three pointers, FMU went on an 8-0 spurt to go back in front 33-32 with 4:15 to go in the half.
- Florida Memorial pushed their lead out to 38-34 when a Trystan Pratapas jumper started an 11-0 run to put Keiser back in front 45-38 with 58 seconds remaining.
- The Seahawks went on to take a 45-40 advantage into the halftime break with KU connecting on seven three pointers.
- FMU outscored KU 9-2 over the first nine minutes of the second half to gain a 49-47 advantage. Stefan Zecevic then hit a jumper to tie the game at 49-49 with 10:40 remaining in regulation.
- With the Seahawks trailing 60-55, a Sarenac three pointer and four straight points by McClenton put Keiser back in front 62-60 with 7:00 left in the contest.
- Facing a 76-70 deficit with 2:36 showing, Whittaker connected with McClenton on an alley-oop and then Whittaker converted on an old fashion three point play to get within 76-75 and force FMU into a timeout.
- The Lions came out of the timeout and scored on a floater in the paint pushing the margin to 78-75 with 1:50 to go. Jenkins then converted at the line pulling to within 78-77 with 1:30 left and then split at the line with 1:02 left to tie the game at 78-78.
- Kody Williams of FMU came right back with a layup and was fouled on the play. Davon Williams stepped up and made the free throw upping the lead to 81-78 with 50 seconds remaining in regulation.
- Weaver laid the ball in with 23.8 left getting to within 80-81 when FMU called timeout. Following the timeout, Brice Jenkins stole the inbound and Zecevic had a breakaway dunk to go in front 82-81 with 12 seconds left. However, Jaelyn Johnson-Coston hit a three pointer with five seconds left to regain an 84-82 advantage and forcing the Seahawks into a timeout.
