The Seahawks softball team dropped a pair of games on day two of the Gulf Shores Tournament on Saturday afternoon.

Game 2: Culver Stockton beat the Seahawks 10-4

• Keiser did all their damage in the second inning with four runs. Avery Miller led off with a single to right and moved to second on a Darlah Cypress sacrifice bunt. S. Thomas plated A. Miller with an RBI single to left field making it 1-0.
• An error on the right fielder allowed the Seahawks to extend the advantage to 3-0, and an RBI double by Heather Shapiro made it 4-0.
• The Wildcats took over from there scoring two in the second, four in the fourth, one in the fifth, and three in the sixth for the 10-4 victory.
• A. Miller and S. Thomas had two hits apiece helping the Seahawks outhit their opponents 8-7.
• Nicole Granitto suffered the loss on the mound going 3.2 innings.

Game 1:  Freed-Hardeman defeated Keiser 6-0

• The Lions scored a run in the second, two in the third, one in the fifth, and two in the seventh for the 6-0 win.
• Ryleigh Williams, Jaryaca Baker, Taylor Beckman, and Shanah Thomas had the lone hits for the Seahawks.
• Riley Caylor suffered the loss despite striking out two.

Keiser falls to 9-11 overall and will look to rebound at home on Thursday when they welcome Peru State for a doubleheader. The games are set for 2:00 and 4:00 p.m.
