The #12 Seahawks women's tennis team rolled past conference foe Weber International on Wednesday afternoon 9-0.  Keiser improved to 8-6 overall and 3-0 in Sun Conference play.

The Seahawks seized complete control in doubles as Teodora Stanciu/Lola Garcia, Ana Pinto/Juliana Goncalves, and Laura Ortega/Livia Toth all won 8-0 to lead 3-0 heading into singles.

Toth struck first with a shutout at the #6 spot 6-0, 6-0 and Goncalves followed behind with an identical score of 6-0, 6-0 to clinch the match 5-0. Stanciu would not wait long either winning 6-0, 6-0 at #5 pushing the lead to 6-0.

Samantha Guy was victorious 6-2, 6-1 and Pinto came away with a 6-0, 6-1 win at #2. Ortega closed the day at #1 with a 6-2, 6-0 win to complete the 9-0 shutout.

Head Coach Daniel Finn said, "We did a good job of taking care of business today. It was not easy playing with all the rain in the area and forcing stoppages. The ladies will get some rest as we have a big one against LSU Alexandria tomorrow at 2:00 p.m."
