The #6 Keiser University men's tennis team rolled past RV Southeastern University 9-0 on Saturday in Lakeland. The Seahawks improved to 12-2 overall on the year and 2-0 in Sun Conference play.
The Seahawks started fast and never looked back during the match.
Ignacio Osse and
Guilherme Cunha ran away winning 8–5 at #2 and then
Nicolas Guerschanik and
Shaquille Taylor cruised to an 8–3 win at #3.
Arthur Bonnaud and
Rafael Lenz capped off the doubles sweep with an 8-5 victory to lead 3-0 heading into singles play.
Keiser wouldn't waste much time in singles either as Taylor at #5 won convincingly 6–1, 6–0 pushing the lead to 4-0. Then
Martin Martins clinched the match by winning 6-2, 6-1 giving the Seahawks a 5–0 lead.
Osse won at #6 6–1, 6–2, followed by Bonnaud winning 6–2, 6–4 at #3 stretching the advantage to 7-0. #47 Lenz won his match at #5 6–4, 6–4, and #41 Guerschanik would win 7–6(4), 6-3 to cap off the 9–0 win.

Daniel Finn said, "The boys did a great job today of controlling the match. We went to someone else's house on their senior day and kept the momentum the entire match. I am very happy for that, but we still got some work to do but the boys are definitely progressing nicely."
