The #6 ranked men's tennis team ran through a feisty NCAA Division 2 Southern New Hampshire University team 6-3 on Tuesday night in Orlando.

Due to court space this match would be played backwards with singles first and then doubles. The Seahawks jumped out quickly as #6 singles Ignacio Osse took less than an hour to defeat his opponent 6–0, 6–0 and put the boys on the board 1-0. Shortly after Rafael Lenz at #3 singles won 6-3, 6-2 to put the boys up 2-0.

Shaquille Taylor pushed the lead out to 3-0 with a 6-1, 6-1 win at #5 singles and  Arthur Bonnaud notched another point for the Seahawks winning a three setter 6-0, 3-6, 6-3. Martin Martins also played a three set match before falling 6-4, 2-6, 6-2 to give SNHU the point. Next Nicolas Guerschanik had match points before falling in a three hour, three setter 6-4, 5-7, 6-4 to get SHNU within 4-2 going into doubles play.

When doubles started, Keiser wasted no time as Bonnaud and Lenz clinched the match with a 8-4 win at #2 doubles. Then Guerschanik and Taylor extended the advantage to 6–2 with an 8-3 win at #3 doubles. SNHU registered one more point as Martins and Sanchez fell 8-6 at #1 doubles but still came away with the 6-3 win.

"This was definitely a match that I knew we had to gear up to play. Southern New Hampshire has a good team from the NCAA Division II tournament last year so we knew we had to bring it. I'm proud of the way the boys adapted to some adverse conditions for singles first and then having to play doubles under the light was not easy. Definitely glad to see us adapt to situations and be able to come away with the W"
