The top seed and #7 Keiser University men's basketball team fell to the second seed and #10 Warner University 80-55 in the Sun Conference Championship game on Tuesday evening.
How It Happened - Warner jumped out to a 6-2 lead when a three pointer by Brice Jenkins and a Deion McClenton dunk gave Keiser a 7-6 advantage with 16:13 remaining in the first.
- The Seahawks took one last lead in the game of 9-8 on a Tyrus Weaver jumper in the paint with 14:57 to go before it was all Warner from there.
- The Royals went up 24-15 at the 7:55 mark when a 6-0 run got the Seahawks to within 24-21 but Warner led 28-23 at the half.
- Warner took control in the second half and went on to win by a final of 80-55.
Inside the Box9: McClenton had nine rebounds including one offensive and eight defensive.
14: The Seahawks went 14 of 19 from the free throw line.
