  • Claudia Reque led the team in scoring with 11 points, followed by Winbush and Kaylee Patton with 10 apiece.

Turning Point
The 8-0 stretch in the first quarter was all that the Seahawks needed to coast to the comfortable victory. With the score tied at 2-2 at the 8:10 mark of the first quarter, the Seahawks soared ahead to take a 10-2 advantage thanks to a combined effort from Claudia Reque, Jamilla Banks Wall and Princess Cole. The eight-point deficit was too much to overcome for the Amcats.

How it Happened
  • Following the opening 2-2 tie, the Seahawks scored eight unanswered points to take a 10-2 lead following a triple by Claudia Reque, an and-one conversion from Jamilla Banks Wall and a layup from Princess Cole.
  • Anna Maria then scored four unanswered points to chip the Keiser lead in half to just four with under four minutes to play in the first quarter.
  • The Seahawks were unable to pull away from the Amcats, stretching their lead to six points to take a 17-11 advantage to end the first quarter.
  • The second quarter started out with a Kaylee Patton three pointer which extended the Keiser lead to nine points, its largest lead of the contest to that point.
  • The Seahawks quickly stretched their advantage to double-digits following back-to-back free throws by Miah Shephard to take a 24-13 lead with 6:45 remaining in the half.
  • The two squads traded the next eight points over the next six minutes as the Seahawks held on to the 11-point advantage.
  • The last basket of the first half was a layup by Midori Long assisted by Dominique Winbush, providing Keiser with a 30-17 advantage at the intermission.
  • The third quarter began on a strong note for the Seahawks, scoring six unanswered out of the gates to force an Amcats timeout, leading 36-17.
  • Following the timeout, Patton buried another triple to extend the Keiser lead to 22 points with eight minutes to play in the third quarter.
  • The Seahawks kept their foot on the gas, extending the advantage to 44-21 with 6:03 left on the clock, forcing yet another Anna Maria timeout.
  • Keiser outscored the Amcats 9-4 over the final stretch of the third quarter, capped off by a 25-foot heave at the buzzer from Alasjia Dykes to give the Seahawks a 53-25 advantage.
  • The Seahawks scored the first six points of the final quarter as Hannah Del Negro and Winbush each recorded three points through the first four minutes.
  • Keiser finished the game on a 7-5 run to cap off the 66-30 victory to improve to 9-5 on the season, winning its third consecutive contest.
