KU HIGHLIGHTS
-Stanley Whittaker had a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds. He also had a game high seven assists and five steals.
-The Serbian combination of Stefan Zecevic (17 pts) and Andrija Sarenac (16 pts) both reached double digits in scoring.
-Chris Lee scored a season high 13 points off the bench.

TURNING POINT
FNU got as close as 59-58 with 6:46 to go when an Andrija Sarenac three pointer started a 12-2 run pushing the advantage to 71-60 with 2:10 remaining.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Florida National led 7-4 before a Whittaker layup sparked an 11-2 run to gain a 15-9 advantage with 11:30 showing in the half. 
-The Conquistadors came all the back to tie the game at 22-22 but a Tyrus Weaver three pointer began a 7-2 run extending the margin to 29-24 with 3:10 left.
- The Seahawks went on to hold a slim 35-33 advantage at the half after Florida National hit a three pointer at the buzzer.
- A back and forth first ten minutes of the second half of no lead greater than two to go along with seven lead changes and five ties before the Seahawks went in front 57-53 with 9:00 minutes to go.
- Keiser then used an 12-2 run to push the margin to 71-60 with 2:10 remaining and hung on to win the home opener 75-70.
