No. 2 Keiser women's soccer further proved its dominance this afternoon after defeating SCAD in Savannah, Ga., by the final score of 5-0. Johanna Engberg netted two goals and recorded one assist en route to defeating the 2015 co-regular season champion.
 
Turning Point
The turning point in tonight's contest came in the 21st minute when Renee Brown netted her fourth goal of the season. Brown found the back of the net after the assist from Johanna Engberg to take the 1-0 lead that would never be relinquished.
 
How it Happened
  • Keiser took the early 1-0 advantage off Brown's strike in the 21st minute of play.
  • Engberg scored back-to-back goals, assisted by Filippa Millqvist and Matilda Nilsson, to extend the lead to three.
  • Sara Lundberg scored her third goal of the season, assisted by Millqvist, to extend the contest to a four-goal advantage.
  • The final goal was netted my Molly Lukk, her third of the season, assisted by Elin Olsson.
  • Netz recorded her 11th shutout of the season following the victory.

  • With the victory, the Seahawks now improve to 15-0 for the first time since finishing 16-0 in 2006.
  • Keiser's shutout victory marked the Seahawks' 11th shutout of the season; the program record is 12 set in 2008.
